Jabsco Rotary Lobe Pumps from Xylem acquired by Verder Group
The Verder Group acquires the Jabsco Rotary Lobe pumps from Xylem
It is with great excitement that the Verder Group and Xylem announce the acquisition of the Jabsco Lobe pumps product line by the Verder Group. The pumps division operates under the Verder Liquids name and they will be integrating the Jabsco Lobe pump business.
Jabsco is a strong brand in the leisure marine and recreational vehicle markets, as well as many niche industrial markets and covers several different pump technologies such as motor driven diaphragm (MDD), Flexible Impeller, Sliding Vane and Toilets. All product lines / technologies except for the Lobe technology will remain with Xylem.
The acquisition will strengthen Verder’s hygienic position in the food & beverage and pharmaceutical markets, offering a full portfolio of lobe pumps. Adding extra footprint in the market, expanding the portfolio, increasing the level of hygienic knowledge and intensifying the focus on the hygienic market, will allow Verder to further increase penetration in these expanding markets.
Andries Verder, CEO of Verder International, says that the Group is very excited to add the Jabsco lobe pumps to the offering of Verder Liquids into the hygienic market: "Jabsco is a very well-known and established name in the market and will help us fortify our position as a hygienic pump specialist".
As of today, all Jabsco Lobe pumps can now be purchased from the Verder organisation under the new name: Jabsco by Packo. As Packo is the main hygienic pump brand of Verder (with Centrifugal Lobe and Twin screw technologies) it has been decided to combine the strength of both Jabsco and Packo in the new name.
