Verder grows in Southeast Asia: new facility opens in Korea
To enable Verder Liquids’ South Korean subsidiary JEC Ltd to meet the growing demand for Jabsco by Packo rotary lobe pumps and supply the complete Southeast Asian market, Verder has officially opened a new building on the JEC grounds in Hwaseong – some 40 kilometers from Seoul. Andries Verder, CEO of the Verder Group, celebrated the opening on site with employees at the end of April.
The modern building offers sufficient space for all office staff and also includes a large workshop and a spacious warehouse. With such facilities, Jabsco, both responsible for manufacturing and logistics, can ramp up production of its hygienic rotary lobe pumps and ensure faster delivery times throughout the entire region.
The Verder Group had acquired the Jabsco product line in May 2021, expanding its portfolio in the important food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals markets. With the new investment in infrastructure at the Hwaseong site, the Group is now taking the next, consistent step in the strategically important Southeast Asian market.
